what is the value of secrecy here? part of me wants to protect "it" from the careless, from the irreverent....but there is something dogmatic in this attitude. whether any of us like it or not there is an implied belief system in the simplest exchange of vernacular. am i swapping out "myths" regardless of where I turn for support? My heart says that knowledge should be free, but are there costs inherent in this freedom? Is there a price for the maintenance of innocence?
